NRC is seeking a Relief Cook/Dietary Aide to assist residents of the Northfield Care Center in their daily living. A Relief Cook/Dietary Aide cook meals,helps serve meals to residents who require round-the-clock nursing care. Gain an introduction to the aging services field while making a positive impact in the lives of residents.
Hours: 80 Hours/pay period (EOW/EOH)
Shifts: 11:00 am–7:30 pm
Responsibilities and Duties
Able to lift 50lbs
Cook from scratch,follow recipes (experience a PLUS)
Make personal connections with residents
Cook/Wait tables during meals at the Care Center dining area
Clean up after meals, wash dishes
Put stock away and fill floor orders
Qualifications and Skills
Outgoing, friendly personality. Cook/Dietary Aides must be able to establish and maintain positive relationships with residents.
Cooking and cleaning experience. Prior experience with cooking and cleaning is a plus, but training can be offered.
Work independently. Must be able to read and follow directions while working with minimal supervision.
