Temporary Lead Staffer
NRC is seeking a Temporary Lead Staffer to assist residents in their daily living. Lead Staffers oversee and schedule staff delivering daily care to residents. Continue your growth in the medical field while making a positive impact in the lives of residents.
Hours: 80 hours/pay period
Responsibilities and Duties
Carry on call phone
Create and maintain schedule for 80+ resident aides who provide daily cares to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and more
Assist in maintaining staffing needs based on resident acuity
Help staff to understand and follow care protocols
Qualifications and Skills
Outgoing, friendly personality. Lead staffers must be able to establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, and be team players with fellow staff.
CNA Certification. You must earn your CNA certification in order to perform the duties listed above. Candidates who already have this certification are preferred, but NRC can provide you with this training.
Past experience. 6 months of previous experience in a long-term care setting is preferred. Past scheduling experience is desired.
Basic computer skills. Preferred candidates will have past experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and data entry.
